Hi Guys , thought I'd give it go here see if anyone can help out . Had an email from a local lady near Taverham requesting a favor for her son on his special occasion . The evening of July 6th , her son who has autism has his prom night and as a treat this lovely lady would like to give her son a special gift . Pick him up and collect to the event . I've said I would do it if I'm in the country at the time but just as a measure of security are there any supercar owners out there who might be able to do this just in case I'm not available . Preference I think would be a Lambo or Fezza , Koenigsegg or Bugatti would be nice but probably a bit unrealistic given I don't think anyone has one around these parts . But no , any supercar , would you be available ?. PM me if so . Thanks .

Cheers Rick

I posted here back in the summer & a fantastic guy offered a Fezza 355!

He turned up "all the women swooned" - good looking fecker LOL and he drove my daughter & boyfriend to the prom!

Hope he might be able to help as I couldn't fault his generiousity and politeness! 11/10!

Hi, why don't you post this on the ferrari/lambo section? you might get a better response. Just a bit too far for me! As a dad of 2 special needs kids I understand how much of a big deal it is for them on occasions like this and why not! Also what about contacting the Ferrari's owners club? pm me if you would like the anglia organisers e-mail, best of luck. john.

Hello John , I fear it might be a bit far for most people in this region , after all it would be just a few hours in the evening so the long drive might put people off , the lady who has a liver disorder herself offered payment but I told her if I was available I wouldn't take anything but she would be willing to offer a few drink I'm guessing . I was hoping someone more local who lives in Norwich would be able to help to cut down on the persons fuel and driving . I'll drop the Ferrari owners club an email in the meantime . I have had one response from a guy with a GT3 which is great but like me he may not be available on the night .
Thanks Ricky

Hi - it looks as though you have a nice 355 sorted out as a back up plan so are sorted, but if you need another volunteer then I would be more than happy to help out.
I can not offer a Lambo or Fezza though, but if one of Norfolk's finest is of interest then I have a S2 Lotus Elise that polishes up nicely.
All the best
Steve

In fact, why dont a few of us get together and give the lad a 'mini' procession?

I'm up for it.

Hi Steve , it's still a ways off yet but thanks for the offer , seems there's plenty of you guys willing to help out , I might suggest to the boys mother if there's any other kids need taking to the prom then some of you might be up for it , be good to get some serious metal together too and have a bit of a hoon , S2 Lotus would fit the bill , I'm sure if we all turned up in convoy it would cause quite a stire with the kids . What do you think ?

No such thing as a lowly TVR 450 Jimbo , great idea getting some cars together for the prom night . Can you guys let me know who's willing to turn up so I have a rough idea of numbers , maybe start some kind of list . Just add name and car and I'll speak to the lady who's lad is involved and we can give the kids a treat . I'll start the list

Thanks Mike , put you on the list with the Esprit , think that will get some pulses racing . Incidently the times for the evening on the 6th July . Kids have to be at the Roundwood 7.30pm , finishes around 11.00pm if anyone wants to hang around that late . If not I'm sure a few can do double runs or maybe parents will be taking some of the kids home . Either way if you fancy helping out please put your name on the list and I'll make contact with precise details nearer the time .
Cheers Rick
