Hi all - I'm in Colchester (which is in East Anglia, not Essex!) and I'm looking for an auto electrician of the mobile variety who fancies a bit of 'Saturday work' wink

Essentially, last year's track car now has a new friend (an almost identical model) and I'm planning on making one awesome car out of two good ones.

The thing is, the new one has lots of electric gizmos fitted which need (properly) removing (the previous one was a nice boring base model).

The car is an E36 BMW. Things to be removed are:
- Retro-fitted third party immobiliser/central locking system whatsit
- Digital climate control thingie
- 18-button OBC (which was retro-fitted by previous owner; need to ensure the sensor end of the system is happy)
- HID upgrade (nasty chaviness)

Possibly some other wiring jobs like fitting an MSA-compliant electrical kill switch, but we'll have to see how much cash we've burnt before that point.

Obviously, the car will be stripped of interior gubbins, so access to the wiring shouldn't be too bad.

Any PHers up for the challenge? Or who have (competent!) mates who might be?
