If you like vintage or post vintage cars Ufford is worth a visit on Saturday 7th April 2012. 10.30 - 3.30pm.
See an incredible gathering of cars from Austin 7 to Blower Bentley's and even cyclecars have been known to arrive alongside ground shaking 14lt La France. A must day for the enthusiast.

Just arrive and enjoy the real ale, hot food, BBQ, live music and pleasant company.

Excuse my ignorance, but is it a show or motorsport event?

I was looking to go.

I have just put a new radiator in my 38 Ford, there is a chance I may get enough of it back together to be able to take it.

Can I just turn up Saturday?

Yes just turn up, its all very relaxed. Pull into the pub area and somebody on the field entrance will direct you to a parking spot. Try and turn up earlier rather than later if possible as it can get busy.
I will arrive at around 10.00am which has in the past been early enough to always have a spot.

Thanks for the reply. Put it back together and with engine serviced its alot faster but test run with new radiator and still running hot! Has fan from belt but electric one not connected yet.
Will still come and have a look, either with or without the car.

Apart from my modern, I'm carless at the moment. I don't think a nice black Golf estate will fit in with the usual gorgeous machinery that turns up!

How cold was it there? We were freezing but the burgers were fab and I do not normally do burgers,OH said the Ufford Gold was very tasty and the wine was rather good for me. Great to meet up with chums and see the wonderful cars.
