Hello,

I've just picked up a set of BBS LM's that are in need of a bit of TLC, can anyone suggest a good place for refurbing, please? Ideally, someone who can come to me, but I suppose I can also accept answers for those places which actually require me to make some effort, too. But I'll expect vouchers, or something.

Also, is it likely to cost more because they're split rims/ 19s? I have in my mind that £50 per corner is the going rate.

Sorry for the sheer volume of dull that is this thread.

Thanks in advance for forgiving me.
N.

For a mobile service.... Wicked Wheels but you are kidding yourself if you think £50 a corner for split rims, double that and you might be getting somewhere, split rims always carry a premium....

Be greatful they are not 20" £600 is the starting price, the only way you get it cheaper is if you split them youself and just hand over the centres.

Crikey. I was enjoying kidding myself, too.

Actually, I wasn't. I was cursing myself for my stupid 'buy em cheap and fix em up' logic. It literally never goes well.

Cheers for the info Xk smile

I had a set of wheels blasted & powdercoated (22x9's) satin black by Wheel Genie as a set of winter wheels for my truck, a surprisingly good finish considering they were flaky American chrome.
