Hi all.

My name is Chris from Norwich. I have been around the performance car scene for about 4 years now first with a Nissan 200sx which was built by Gary at Apt which I ran at snetterton a few times, and now with a Mazda rx7 rebuilt by jimmys Mazda in Wroxham.

I'm currently building the rx7 to be a road legal track day car with the ultimate aim of taking it to nurburgring at some point this year. It has been half stripped, AC removed, running about 320bhp at the moment on stock sequential twin turbos. Most of the work done to the engine has been for reliability reasons to preserve the fresh rebuild. I will get some pics up in a bit.

So I recognise some names from bigpower forum like fasteddy. Are there any meets and run outs etc around this area?

Cheers, Chris

waveyWelcome to the forum Chris. A good bunch here with several run outs during the year as well as Sunday lunch meets. Darren (iluvmercs) is the general ring leader! Hope that helps.

Cool, I'll keep an eye on the forum to see what's happening. Shame big power died. I quite enjoyed the snetterton meets.

Here she is as she stands at the moment. The 205gti in the background was my first track toy which is now gone.

Hello Chris!

Welcome aboard, and what a lovely example of an RX7 thumbup

We have a monthly pub meet near Bury St Edmunds, as well as attending various shows throughout the year. There also a smattering of Runs throughout the year.
You are welcome to join us whenever you are able to smile

The next Event will be a Run which I will be organising in February. Full details of which I will post when I get home after the weekend.

While all the planned PHEA Events are posted on here, I also have a mailing list, so if you don't check regularly on here, you can receive Event notifications directly. If you would like to be added to this mailing list, please message me through my profile.

I look forward to meeting you and your automotive companion smile

Darren

Sounds great. I been trying to find something local to replace the Bigpower meets. Please sign me up to the mailing list and I will try to make the next run event.

Cheers,
Chris

Hello and welcome

Are you "pantera chris" because you are a fan of the De Tomaso Pantera or the band Pantera. Both are cool in my book smile

nono you're doing it all wrong. Any pics of your car must have butter ghee in them, or else it's not your car yes
