A lot of people tell me how relevant it is to their lives, keeping them updated on local affairs such as road closures and changes to Carlisle Sheep Auctions etc.

I live in Norfolk. I just don't get it.

Move.

Then :
1. You'll a relevant local news programme.
2. You won't have to live in Norfolk.

You probably don't get it because your not from up north and it's northern news. Comes in quite handy sometimes for road updates and weather.

For a while i've thought that BBC Look East should really be called BBC Stand in Lowestoft and look West.

Ah, you're a feeder then? I'm with you on the dress thing though.

All local news is the same so you can watch any and get the same information.

It's always a death, a murder, a stabbing, another death, a death that has been undetected for 3 years, an assault, grandma dying because she hasn't put on the heating & another murder. And then to cheer you up after all that it's something like 'and finally, some puppies have been born at such-n-such school, awwww.

The presenters come across as having slight chromosome damage too.

Have you tried pointing your aerial in that direction?

Look East and Anglia News report news from the Silverstone area, Milton Keynes and Hertfordshire. These places are not in the Eastern region.

EDIT Tonight we had news reports about Bedford and Luton, FFS they are NOT in the eastern region. Management at both Anglia and BBC should have paid more attention in their geography lessons.
