Anyone know any decent exhaust places around the Bury St Edmunds / Stowmarket / Ipswich area.

Looking to get a silencer removed and replaced with a straight pipe but it also needs bespoke hanger as the box has a hanger on the side.

I have someone I used before but can't seem to get hold them lately so want to try somewhere else.

Thanks

ISC are the ones I've used previously but couldn't get hold of them and my emails went unanswered a couple of months back.

I'll try A14, thanks.

Try these people:

Longlife Ipswich (Stonham Aspal) - 01473 200414

Longlife in Stonham Aspal, near Ipswich, Suffolk is a true petrol heads dream. Owners, Dan and David have been playing with cars for most of their lives and there is pretty much nothing that fases them. Whether it's a Stainless Steel Exhaust, ECU remapping, Diesel Particulate Filter solutions or anything else that you can think of, they can handle it.

Based just a few hundred yards from the well known Stonham Barns, you can either wait in the comfortable waiting room or be dropped off into Ipswich for some shopping while your vehicle is being well cared for.

Dont use isc (or what were warrior).

I had a custom system made for my classic alfa, they didnt hang it right. It pulled the back of the gearbox over to the side, and put the gearbox and propshaft out of alignment. Wore the output shaft of the gearbox and screwed the propshaft. Cost me £1100 to rectfy. Used the powerflow dealer in herts to rebuild a new system following this FOC via powerflows owner, once he recieved an engineers report on warriors isc screwup.

Another vote for A14... had a decat done there before, and always use them for my tyres.

A bit of a bump, but does anybody else have any more recommendations? Longlife have quoted a price that seems reasonable and is local to myself, so I'm very tempted, but before i take the plunge I want to make sure I haven't missed anywhere.

Bit of a thread resurrection but does anyone know if A14 Performance is still about?

I drove past the other day and all looked ok.

A14 Tyres is still going (or at least they better be, they are fitting some tyres for me tomorrow!)

Cheers Jakg, I'll try and drop in next week to speak about new exhaust.
