Looking for a set of 19' rims so i can put a set of winter tyres on the C63.

Mercedes do a winter wheels service where they change the tyres for winter ones. Afetr the damage inflicted to the rims I do not want to go down this route.

Ideally get a set of wheels and tyres and just swap them over.

Anyone got any ideas?

Got some fairly used Range rover 19" good ground clearance etc would recommend about 70mph or bends.

Must be some flee bay items around with tyres.

Not sure if it's much help, but what about an option of using some of the standard 18" C63 alloys and source some winter tyres. I suppose you could order a complete set through Mercedes UK and if not from MB Germany.
I could get a price for a set in Germany if that's any help, too?

Darren, I have looked at the 18 inch option but as mine has the PPP+ and DP I've got the larger calipers so the 18's wont fit....frown
It has limited me drastically as to what I get get. With the amount of buying a completely new set of rims and then winter tyres, I could get a 2nd motor to use when the snow hits.....

Anyone got one?

Nick your wife's Disco. Simples. She will then enjoy hours of fun trying to leave the house in the Storm Trooper in the snow. hehe

Mate, that is not even funny.....her Disco is at Shawn Taylor's waiting for new rear discs and pads as she had worn them down to metal (cue the 'my brakes have been squeaking for the last few weeks but I thought the rain would stop the noise) and one of the rear air bags on the suspension has been ripped apart and got caught up in the shock.eek This has totally fked up the rear end so need to chuck some cash at it then sell it ready for ther Disco 4 in Jan........

So no she can't drive the StormTrooper as she can't even drive her's properly.....furious

Anyway, got my own back on her...while the Disco is in for repair, she's driving around in a Ford Tourneo mini bus.....hehe

You going to pop into Holiday Inn tomorrow for a butchers at the Aston GT4 car?

I love the "My car's making a funny noise." comments we all get now and again!
I know what you mean about chucking money, I've just had to chuck about £4.5k at the VXR8, thanks to a knackered diff, clutch and a few other bits and pieces and before you say it, no it wasn't driver induced!

As for tomorrow, I'd like to get there, but we have got decorators arriving on Monday and a few rooms to clear before they turn up. I'd happily skive off for an hour, but I'm sure you know who/what might prevent that from happening!

Yes, looking forward to Snetterton. Should be a really good day, we just need to pray that the weather is kind!
