Guys,

Thanks to all those who have placed their names on the list in the thread.

Can I ask you to visit our webpage and fill in the form for us to gather more information from you.

We are working on timings and need to allocate cars to groups.

If you can visit www.charityraceexperience.co.uk and select the tab on the left hand side of the page that describes your car (race, supercar or classic etc)

We also have our launch day this Sunday 6th Nov. at the Holiday Inn near Norwich Airport between 11am and 2pm.
It will be the general publics chance to get upclose with some of the cars, meet some of the drivers, the organisers and the charity, RMHC.
If anyone would like to bring their car along for the display please drop me an email to arrange timings.

Again, thanks for the support.

Kev

No Chris. Once you have filled in a form then that's done.

We have had people mention they 'don't do facebook' so we have had Shawn Taylor racing place a form on their site too.

They are handling the drivers lists and goign through cars, drivers and experience.

At the end of the day, we need to ensure that not only are the public getting a great experience, they are getting as safe an experience as possible.

As we are hoping that this becomes an annual event, we need to take as many of the risks out of the day as possible but still make it enjoyable for passengers and drivers alike.

We will also have forms available at the Launch Day event this Sunday too.

Hi Kev,

I completed the required F/Book form.

Last I heard you were finalising the insurance. Any chance of getting to see the details of that ahead of bringing my pride and joy along? Happy to park her up and get folks looking around her but obviously want to be sure I understand any insurance implications before razzing around a track.....

Thanks
Pete

Pete,

Our insurance is only going to cover the passenger. We cannot get cover for each individual car and driver without it becoming hugely expensive (already is frown )

If you wish to get your own trackday cover then some of them also cover passengers as well.

Hope this helps.

Evening,

Shawn Taylor Racing has mentioned that some people are contacting them saying they have filled out a printed form to register for taking people around the track on our Event day.

There is NO printable format for this form. The only way to register any interest is via either the

www.charityraceexperience.co.uk

or via Shawn Taylor's race website.

This only gets you onto the registered list. You will then get an approval email from ST Racing.

Anyone turning up on the day that has not been approved PRIOR to the event, will not be able to take passengers around the track.

There is no arrive and drive on this day. Sorry but we need to have a list prior to the event for insurance reasons..

Many thanks for your continued support,

Kev

Hi Kev, is it worth copying and pasting that and PMing it to those concerned? They might not visit here as frequently as us. Let me know if you want to me to come and get a banner during the week. On another note, is Shawn planning to run his race VXR8 for passenger rides on the day? If he is, I will make it known on the HSV and Monaro forum, as both Shawn and the car were being discussed on there a while back.

I can do either Monday or Tuesday this week as I am working in London Wednesday thru Friday...LEt me know where you are and I can drop off a banner.

Shawn will indeed be using his VXR to take passengers around for some of the day...so get ya money ready for both riding slingshot but also for mods for your motor.. hehe

I'm in Norwich tomorrow so I'll give you a call, which you probably won't answer! hehe
I'll let the Aussie V8 lot know. Which price bracket will that car be in? Can they book anything online? Am I right in thinking it's for three laps?
Speak to you tomorrow mate.

Stu, Not sure of the price bracket yet bud as we are still compiling the lists (should be doing this tomorrow).

All passenger rides will be three laps. One out lap, one hot lap and one in lap...should give you about 3-4 minutes out in the cars....

Speak more tomorrow bud.
