The seventh Car Show at Meldreth Church will be held on Sunday 11 September from 2.00 to 5.00 pm with admission for adults £5.00 and children under 16 accompanied by an adult £1.00

The event is a Car Show with a difference with cars nestling among old gravestones the churchyard will be crammed full with 50 cars covering veteran, vintage, classic and competition plus and a few motorbikes and couple of veteran bicycles. There are many new exhibits to make this year’s show interesting.

Among the varied exhibits will be a 1923 Bentley TT a predecessor of the Le Mans winning cars , 1928 Clyno Royal, 1933 Standard 16, 1959 Jaguar XK 150 superbly restored over seven years, and 1982 DeLorean from the ill-fated Northern Ireland venture. Among the bike category there will be two 1930 OEC motorbikes and two veteran pedal bicycles - 1901 Raleigh Cross Frame and 1912 Model No: 3 Dursley Pedersen.

Teas will be served in the Meeting Room during the afternoon

Background music will be provided by the Memphis Jazz Band.

There will be chance to try ringing one of the bells and turn the handle of barrel organ built into the back of church organ.

There is ample free parking next to the church.
