I need to think about getting a set of AMG diamond cut finish, lacquered alloy wheels refinished.
Rolling Rims www.rolling-rims.co.uk quoted me £80.00/wheel...is this reasonable and does anyone know anything about this company, are they any good?
Would anyone on here like to recommend a specialist wheel finisher based in our region, for these nice wheels?
Thanks for your help!

Does he actually diamond cut?
When I got my C63, I found out one of the rims had been repaired. As it was a demonstrator, I asked who had done it and was told it was all done properly and diamond cut ( edge of wheels is diamond cut with rest of rim matt black)....on checking closer, all they had done was have the diamond cut part painted silver.......
Not many companies are set up with diamond cutting gear.....if he is any good let me know as I have a couple that need doing 'properly'....

Exel Wheels are the company to use, probably the best service in the UK and they use Lepsons. They diamond cut one of my Porsche wheels and it looks better than new.
Thank you so much for all the helpful comments and additional information.
I will get all four wheels refinished...but will wait until after the winter. The wheels have only very minor deterioration on the leading edges of the diamond cut areas. The chap from Rolling Rims thought that the wheels had been refinished before but not "thoroughly".
By this I think he meant that the powder-coated areas had been left original and only the diamond cut areas refinished, so the new lacquer had to bond to the old finish...although this treatment looks great at first, this apparently rarely lasts long and the finish soon begins to fail again.
