Full Respray Great Yarmouth/Norwich Area....

Just wondering if anyone has had any resprays done and can recommend a paintshop?

I am considering a respray on our Mk1 Golf Cabby and just want some suggestions from people with personal experience?

Just had my jag done at sidegate motors(peugeot garage) at gapton industrial estate, yarmouth, excellent price and the quality of the work is fantastic on the car, they must have a high standard as they do the police cars and some exotics from other dealers

Wow... you really are a local PH'er! I work about 200 yards from Sidegate Repair centre and live about a mile away! My OH's Dad just had his Porsche bumper re-sprayed there on recommendation.

If they have done a good job I will have to check them out properly Cheers!

If he's still going Andrew's Garage in Hickling was always very good.

Specialists In Design at Gt. Yarmouth are excellent. They're a dragster shop and their work is first rate. They upgraded my rollcage and some of their stuff is fantastic.

Dereham Resprays are also very good. They do touchup work for the main dealers on brand new cars, I've had a little work off them and they're excellent.

Neither SID or DR are cheap.

There's also a bodyshop (A&C Autos 1353 675240) who are very good and reasonably priced near Ely but that's probably too far.

I got a few panels resprayed at Excalibur Coachworks (on the Beccles Industrial Estate).

Top notch work on my car, and has been recommended to me by multiple locals.

Only thing is, they are not VAT registered - I don't know if that would affect you in any way. But this does make the work a lot more competitively priced.

Nope Jon and Sharon are definately still there and churning out excellent work as usual...

They do an awesome job on anything not just dragsters. Have done a few mates trucks and cars with no issues and will bedoing mine when it's ready....

Another vote here for Sidegate, The bodyshop is separate from the main dealers and the results Iv'e seen on a couple of friends motors have been excellent.....
Good prices too apparentley.
