PHEA Roadshow: Helmingham Festival - Sun 7th Aug

Morning all!

I hereby announce yet another Event for the PHEA Roadshow - Helmingham Festival of Classic and Sports Cars 2011!

The setting is truely marvellous. The stunning Helmingham Hall and its delightful gardens are a fantastic side to the main focus of lovely automobiles.
There is also an Event's Ring, so plenty to entertain the entire family!

Last year was well attended by PHEA with a huge variety of members' cars, so let's hope for some fine weather to coax you all out again.
And if great cars, people, and a wonderful setting aren't enough to tempt you, this is one of the events where the PHEA BBQ will also be present! I'll bring along utensils and cooking oil - all you have to do is supply the items you wish to cook!

You will require a pass for the event, so the easiest thing to do is hand them out at the pre-meeting point. As with previous years, I suggest we meet at a nearby pub, The White Hart in Otley - CLICK HERE FOR A MAP
Can we please meet at 9:15am for a 9:30am departure

Entry is only £10 per car (for up to 2 people).

I actually phoned up the place to ask if we could use their car park. They said we could and mentioned nothing about it?

Great day out at Helingham as usual, some interesting cars and the weather was mostly OK apart from the strong wind. Shame impending showers at the end caused a run for home by all the open top cars!

Thanks for organising this Darren, and bringing the PH barbecue!
