Looking for a Autozone type of shop

Are there any auto parts stores around the Bury St. Edmunds area? I'm looking for something similar to Autozone in the U.S. The closest thing I can think of is Halfords. Does anyone happen to know if they do battery and alternator testing?

halfords will do batt/alt testing, as will most decent tyre and exhaust places

The branch in Haverhill has knowledgeable staff (unlike most Halfords) and a good range of car products and spares (unlike Halfords). Good luck!

theres also a euro car parts in bury , they dont test batterys but will sell them at non rip off prices , also worth a mention is pitstop in mildenhall

halfords is a last resort for most of us , overpriced parts and untrained staff ,but theyre open late and sundays too , if you end up using them ask for a trade card it gets you alot off the service parts and batterys etc
