Hi all,
anyone going to the car gathering at Dunston Hall on the 6th July? If the weathers good I'll be there. Normally around 50-100 cars turn up for an informal meeting. Starts around 7pm, worth a visit if the weathers good,
Phil

Where abouts is that Phil? The Chimaera is due in for a service and MOT just before plus possible exhaust manifolds and bushes so it depends on that!!

Hi,
its on Tuesday 6th July. Totally informal meeting in the halls carpark. Last time I went there were cars from a D type to Stags to Porsches, etc, etc. Its just outside Norwich on the Ipswich Road, A140

Hi all,
just had a quick look and its organised by the Assoc of Norfolk Car Clubs as an informal "drive in 'n' drool" evening!
Apparently they usually have between 100-200 cars turn up, so worth going along to if you can,
Phil

Its a toss up between this meet and the Formula 1 event down in London that evening....but seeing as I live in Norwich this event may just be the winner

Have a nice trip folks: I'm taking a break after Shuttleworth! But do get some pix and let us know how it went. Maybe you can round up some new bods for the other events?? (We'll say that unless they sign up, we'll set Toffer, Nosher, Knuckles and Basher on 'em )

Here's a few snaps from the busy, but rather disorganised, gathering. A good selection of cars of all ages turned out in the fine weather. It's a shame there couldn't have been a larger part of the car park set aside for the interesting cars rather than have to park amongst Mondeos and the like.

ON the PH front, as well as my Griff and Nicks Chim, it was nice to meet Phil and see his loverly Dax Cobra and meet Martin and his Tuscan S (loved the colour combo). Also on the Tiv front, Neil bought along his red 350t.

I wanted to go but had another "job" to go on with the "Toffer gang"!
I agree with Bacardi...the car park needs to be segregated into "interesting" and "uninteresting" cars.

Hi all,
yes wasn't it very poorly organised, we were sent away twice before sneaking in round the back of the car park. I over heard the Manager of the place telling the organizer he'd only had 3 weeks notice, we weren't exactly welcome but it was fun causing all that disruption. I would guess next year it will be somewhere else, I did hear it might be at the airport park and ride, we will see.
Good to meet you both anyhow, lovely TVR's you both drive. I did go and have a look at them later, but you were busy talking!

I guess there's always our PH venue, the Flying Fortress - good parking on grass and helpful management...
