I have taken on board the wise words of both Mr. L and Mr. K and as much as I respect their knowledge, wit and judgement how can I possibly accept their help and advice when they each own cars called Trevor ? Or am I being a bit harsh ? Answers on a postcard please.

P.S. Find me a Detailer please.

Try Stuart Curtiss at
www dot vdservices dot co dot uk

He will travel (he did my 2011 5.0 Mustang at my house in Norwich)

Unfortunate business name but I can vouch for his excellent work and rates.

As good as new valeting has just closed, meaning that there aren't really any detailers in BSE anymore. Obviously dont go to the chemical guys at the station or the one at BP, Out Westgate.
Think we are stuck. Time to buy more products biggrin

How much does a detail usually run? I need mine stripped down, all the swirls removed and a couple of good wax/polish coats.

I think they are normally based on the work involved. Could be a couple of hundred quid to £2000 +

Another one to add to the pot is Roy at http://pro-valeting.co.uk. He is based in Cambridge but does travel all over the country.
