Lowestoft rental market
Discussion
Hi all,
Does anyone know what the rental market is like in Lowestoft, average rents, competition for 2/3 bed terraced, etc?
I've been thinking of buying a place to rent for sometime and have looked here in Yarmouth but property seems a fair way cheaper in Lowestoft.
I saw on the Lowestoft thread that it seems low employment and drugs are a problem, so is it a minefield? Having said that is Yarmouth or any small town any better?

By the very nature that there's a great deal of unemployment in the town, no-one can afford to buy, so have no choice to rent, all subsidised of course Does anyone know what the rental market is like in Lowestoft, average rents, competition for 2/3 bed terraced, etc?

Depending on how competitive you can be on the rent side, should have no problems, lots of people bought to rent, but have big mortgages on the properties, so if you don't NEED to cover such outgoings, you should have no problem getting a tennant.
