norfolk Broads boat holidays - tips for cheap hire etc.

Looking for a week on the Broads early July. Decided we fancy a boat and have no preferences where from, etc, just need to keep the price down. Anyone have any experience with booking last minute ie to go tomorrow? Am i likely to get a discount rate, or told to sod off?

For two adults, one 3 y/old and a dog.
Anyone got any recommendations - price is key factor really as money is tight. Don't have any preferences as to where from or what boat, just a cruiser.
