Most in here know that I currently enjoy old iron, its in my local garage at the moment for repair. My problem is that its been there for three months now, and still I wait. I am just being fobbed off with excuses from the garage and how they are 'going to crack on with the job'. It never seems to happen though. I am losing money as well because of the wedding shows I had booked into I cannot attend. I was told my car would be ready for beginning of April, 'can't see why not'. I am completely gutted and disillusioned with my garage which I have been going to for seven years with various cars and vans, spending good money, and this is how I am treated. Rant over. Just need to find another garage.

Scole Engineering are good, but if you're in a hurry, they may not be the people for you. I hate it when garages do this, I wish they'd man up and just tell you straight, if your car isn't going to be ready. I don't doubt their intentions when they take the jobs on, I think they just get distracted. The worst thing about it is you almost feel bad for chasing them, trying not to sour the relationship, then they mistake your good nature for weakness and take the proverbial. banghead

Indeed, it wouldn't have been so bad if I hadn't got my money lashed out on work promotions, thus far it has cost me hundreds in that area + the lost possible business. Piss taking of the highest order.

A big recommendation to Scole Engineering here.

Wouldn't have taken my car anywhere else. However, they're not the quickest if you're just dropping a car in, but if you book in advance you should have no problems.

Plus, it's lovely wandering about the yard seeing what interesting vehicles they have to work on, be it every TVR under the sun, an old MG TC, or some fancy mega turbo jap metal. Top guys.
