Peter Baldwin - Wilsher Garages - just outside Cambridge

OK it's not Norwich but he's very good but he has a huge range of jets, emulsifier tubes and chokes

He doesn't touch anthing that is injected or electronic - just the old stuff and sets it up on a realy ancient RR - Use him while he still with us - these people are thining out fast

I called Peter Baldwin once before - he (or who ever answered the phone) wasn't very keen on doing my car as the 1500 engine has a poor reputation. much grimbling and sucking of teeth. Maybe I'll try him again.

pity they have needles and none of the other stuff twin 40,s use.

you need a lot of time to set them up. i think they are great carbs and have spent a lot of time messing about with them.

a bit of wet or dry for fine tuning. the oil in the dash pot makes a huge difference

cheers max
