I know that this event/show is not your usual fare, but if anybody is at a loose end this weekend then perhaps have a day out at the Strumpshaw museum. Good family day, Google for detail.

Tons of heavy metal and classic cars tractors etc.
Well worth a visit.

Just back from a night and day there. Lots of banter in the beer tent last night and a good day today. I'm only a few miles away so a few friends came over on their tractors yesterday for a look at my fathers collection.

This year I done the Friday to Monday night, good band Saturday night and Sunday in the beer tent. My only complaint is that the beer tent bar ran out of 'Broadside' way to soon. One of the best shows of the season IMHO. I survived the three nights in my vintage caravan thanks to plenty of good ale. beer

Hi Cranked up, I think I passed you yesterday in front of county hall at about 6pm, I was in a red 106 with a black bonnet and the air-filter poking through it wobble

Your griff looks fantastic in that lovely light green!

Did you have an exhibit at the Rally?

Ah, that will most likely be the guy I sold my Griff to, he lives out that way. Guess I really must get around to changing my profile photo!
My rally exhibit was the 1929 Eccles tourer caravan, the cream/green one in the classic car area. My vintage car is still currently in the garage undergoing some treatment (1928 Vauxhall 20/60).
