Hi All,

I have just bought a ZT and the previous owner lost the locking wheel nut.

Advice I have been given is that all of the ZT's use the same locking wheel nut (12) and its possible ZS's use the same key. The key numbers are supplied within the cars handbook.

I'm going to attempt to drill these off myself to begin with, but I suspect my attempt will fail and I was hoping there would be a ZT/ZS owner who wouldn't mind helping me out.
It would be really appreciated!

Heres hoping!
Thanks
Sean

Most locking nuts are simply removed by hammering a tight socket on. I once found this out after spending 6 hours taking nuts off with a Dremel.

Thanks for the advice, I will try a socket, hammer and some man power before picking the drill up.

Hey Sean

Before trying anything drastic, you do know you can oder a new key as you have the number? Or am I mis-reading that and you don't actually have the handbook?

Hi Debs! smile

Well I do have the key reference but I wouldn't have a clue where to order them...

Hi Chris,
Located in Cardiff.
Thanks for the offer, I over estimated how difficult they are to remove.
It was really quite simple using a socket, hammer and man power. Took about 30 minutes to remove the set. I have seen the kits but I was convinced it would work (or in my ability to use them). Thanks for the replies.

Sean.
