Are NG Motors in Cardiff any good? I have an issue with my Mk1 Seat Leon and need somewhere to look at it/give it a service.

Thanks

No idea on NG Motors, but i can't recommend the guys at Euro Performance in Pontyclun highly enough! Great bunch of lads and excellent service.

NG Motors are much closer to me (a mile or so), so i can drop the car there and walk home! I don't want to drive too far either as the car is showing me warning lights smile (probably just a sensor, so nothing to worry about, but i'd rather not drive miles).

I have heard they're ok, but wanted some real opinions.

I have used them for my A4 and A6, both diesels (1.9 tdi & 3.0 tdi quattro) and am off there again this week, dodgy boot release.

Nothing but good things to say about them. Friendly, knowledgable and a lot cheaper than a main dealer.

Had a quote a while back for service/belts on the A4 cab and it came back pretty expensive and it didnt fill me with confidence when told 'Upwards of....'

In the end I used the South Wales VW Specialist in Barry, fixed price and quite a bit cheaper. Now use them for everything, very honest and know their stuff. (even tuned my wonky window for nothing when doing an oil change)

I was just quoted £230 for a Seat Leon mk1 service, which seems expensive!

£150 from Welsh VW.

Not sure i want to risk a longer drive to Welsh VW with the warning light on though frown
