Is anyone undertaking any interesting restoration projects at the moment? Anyone looking to sell unfinished projects? I'm looking to clutter up my house with car parts and rotten wings (am I mad?) but of course am looking for something cheap and nothing british or ste....

Well, I wouldn't describe mine as a restoration project but I do have an MX-5 that will need new arches and sills one day. It would be a very good car to practice bodywork on. I can PM you moe details if required.

What's your budget?

Cheers for the reply Phil, As I restore cars for a living I'm not really in need of any practice! but was just on the general nose around for some cheap half done jobs to that I might finish now I've got some space. I have an MX5 myself so I can tell you're a man with taste.

Sorry, didn't mean to patronise you about practicing bodywork. What I meant was that my car would be good to work on from a bodywork perspective but not so good mechanically as it's sound underneath.

Though I'd love to turn her into a fast road/track car and uprate the brakes, suspension etc etc...sadly I'm getting married and apparently a dress and cake are essential for the big day!

hehe aye, I still have it Dan. I haven't seen my c2 in a while now, every time I have seen it since I sold it it appears to be getting in a worse and worse condition!

I would sort the Volvo out myself, it doesn't need a great deal of work really, I just haven't the money.

How is your c2 these days?

Still not quite what I looking for. Appreciate the reply mind. It might be wishful thinking but an e30 or a knackered alfa was more the vibe I was feeling. Still open to offers and glad the thread has a little momentum.

Are you looking to buy a car that's half finished or take on a commission? Where are you based? I have an e30 touring in very good nick (cat c because of a new door) that needs some tlc. Stacks of history. I'm actually thinking of transferring all my other e30 running gear into it because it's a better shell.
Might be worth a chat? Am based outside narberth.

Awesome news, I'm looking to Purchase an e30 touring in virtually any condition. (The worse the better actually) but of course am equally open to helping out anyone who is looking for restoration. Am currently rebuilding a high spec mk1 golf.
