St Davids Road Trip 2011

I again went on this years road trip around the roads of gwent,had a great time. Number of vehicles taking part was around 75 to 80, not bad for an event in its 2nd year.
the Pembroke county run had over 600 entries !!

The organisers are looking to get more people to take part next year, so pistonheaders of South Wales, what would encourage you to take part ?

All ideas welcome .

There is a meeting with the organisers next wednesday.

Timing and advance notice is probably key as well as good information with regard to start location, end location and route. Sometimes the opportunity to pick up people along key points of the route works well for those that cant do the whole run.
Is there a date yet or is that too early?

not sure on the date yet, hopefully they will keep the same weekend as this year.

west Wales is poor for good roads past Swansea

I would go north to portmierion or Bala

St David's as in the charity St David's Foundation, not St David's the place. The rally is around SE Wales in Gwent if I'm not mistaken.
