Anyone know of any?

Problem with Mrs GTI where it is reving from below 1,000 to 1,800 at idle? Fault code shows air intake leak but been fixed and still doing it?

Another vote here for Gareth and the guys at Euro Performance. Been using them for both our cars for the last 12 months and they're excellent! Top guys, very knowledgeable and an excellent service.

Plus they're local!

I was going to bite the bullet and take into main dealers as local garage tried everything and it's still doing it, reving slowly up and down from below 1,000 to 2,000.

good garage on north clive road, grangetown, cardiff (directly opposite tyre garage, possibly kwik fit) specialising in VW & audi. has all the computers to find the problem. fixed mine in a few hours. very reliable & very reasonable with prices aswell.

Tomorrow!!!! I was being lazy, anyway I've booked it in to Sinclairs where we bought it from now as want to get it sorted as soon as possible (interestingly doesn't do it when climate on?)

Hey Chris Mrs has a 320d M Sports Plus Touring (basically a couple of more extras including some nice dark alloys over an msport) on demo this weekend to replace her GTI, not as nice as your Alpina but good car nonetheless and think it's got her vote over the C250 Mercedes.

Nice! Merc. is a decent package in fairness and probably more space - dunno about the engine though....
