Hi Guys, I just thought I would recommend a Carbon Fibre wrapping service I have recently used on my latest car, a 2010 Focus RS. I basically wanted to make my car a little different from the others so wanted to wrap the roof panel of the car in standard black vinyl, my usual livery guy didn’t fancy the job so I thought id search for Carbon Fibre wrappers in South Wales instead.

Turns out there is a company in Bridgend who are now carrying out this work, a quick phone call and the car was squeezed in for the following afternoon, I was a little nervous about sending the car there (most work gets done by people I have used before and trust), however, the workshop looked very professional and I was happy to leave it there. Approximately 2-3 hours later I had a phone call and the car was ready to go...

I turned up and was very impressed by the finish, the carbon on the roof looks and feels like the real stuff, makes the carbon fibre on the interior look exactly like the sh*t it is!

After a brief discussion, the chap I spoke to mentioned how he was happy to wrap most things in the Carbon Fibre, including interior parts, roofs, bonnets etc as well as house hold goods – including a fridge!!.

Now I know this stuff doesn’t reduce the weight, but it sure does look fantastic! I am only posting here as I am delighted with the results and thought it’s a very useful company to be aware of. We have not had the weather for decent photographs, however here is one I took, and others that were taken by a guy down at their premises (also found on their website):

Chap you need to speak to is Clive @ elite signs Bridgend. 01656 661649.

Anyone is free to come and view my car if they are considering this type of work but remain a little bit wary, I am based in Neath & also debating whether to attend my first Breakfast Meet scratchchin

I have seen the recent thread on this and will say that on your car it looks good and well executed, but it does not look like real carbon fibre.

Nice work, like that on the RS.

We've been doing these for a while now, as well as full wraps.

A proper CF wrap is really quite indistinguishable from unlaquered carbon.

Nice one!

I will say that 3M dynoc and the unlackered Autoclaved supports for my rear wing are nothing like each other.

Once again this seems to have been done properly etc, but I just don't get the imitation carbon look.
