Hi

Any chance you guys could help. We are on our way over to Swansea in a few weeks, I have the task of booking a curry house for a large group on a Saturday night. Where is good? and where should I avoid? As close to the Centre as possible. My only recommendations so far are Miahs and Karma.

Any help would be great, thanks in advance.

Thanks for that, thats a new one on the list! Is the bar (The Wig) down the road any good to meet in? Looks ok on Google.

laugh I remember every incarnation of that place. Sneaked in there with a few mates as a 15 year old, 82/83. hehe

The Church mentioned, next to the wig, is in fact the "Miahs" recommended in the original Post. This would get my vote also. Maybe a bit out of the way in Skewen (close to the M4 though), but Cafe India is my curry house of choice. Tandoori Lamb Chop starter a particular highlight....35/40 meals without complaint so far.

Miahs is probably my second favourite in the area, only problem I found is that it can get cold in there being such a large open space...

Another vote for Mumbai in Blackpill. It's very good.

TBH your spoilt for choice for curry in Swansea, as long as you stay around the st Helens road area.

Only one gripe, I wished they would marinate their chicken, I have had a few different curries there now that have contained flavourless chicken smothered in the sauce of which ever dish I've gone for.
