Tell us more! I own a 1998 1.8 iS. Where are you based? You'll love driving it. I didn't know what good 'handling' was until I drove a mx-5.

its a 91 imported eunos 1.6. pretty cheap with a knackered roof but am in love already. Have barely driven it yet, picking it up Monday. Cannot wait to become an mx-5 nerd.

Nice one - I had a 1990 Eunos in classic red once upon a time...

They are great things - was a superb RWD intoduction for me!

If you fancy an OEM front splitter, I have one destined for eBay next week (been sat in my parent's attic for over 5 years!)

What's wrong with the roof? I can thoroughly recommend Jack Smith trimmers in Swansea who do a new roof for £260 fitted. Bargain.

Its alot better than I thought and nastier than I could imagine. Knackered trim everywhere, AC pulley is mashed huge dent in the rims and a Swiss cheese roof...boy what a project! Took it for a drive and could of cried it was so good, it needs some work but it is already worth it. I might be unwell.....

another vote for jack smiths here - they did a new rear window on my mx5 last week (and a hood on an e30 for me a few yrs ago)
