I'm located near Newport so I fnd it easier to go over to Merlin Motorsport who are located at the Castle Combe circuit.
I use them quite a lot including stuff such as overalls, helmet etc. and I've seen pitboards and number packs there as well
Website is:
www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk
I realise that if you are further West/ neaer Cardiff this might not be convenient and I'm sure people will post details of other places which might be nearer.

Usual disclaimer- no connection with Merln, just a satisfied customer

PS Saw the profile. When you're back in KL, say hello to the Bangsar stalls and night market for me. (I worked out there at the University for a couple of years.)

Thanks, I'll try Merlin, I am driving down from Heathrow. Bangser is a bit 'has been' now, as is Ampang, the in place in Chankat Bukit Bingtang, loads of bars and next to Jalan Alor for the food stalls, I'm sure you will know both streets, as the number of expats has come down people have moved back to the center.

So long as you're not going to tell me the Bull's Head has closed- that would be too much to bear!

Never been to the Bull's Head, I'll ask if its still open, the in 'British' pubs are Finnigans, but these are sidicated, not my scene, I tend to use the Green Man, owned by a couple of expats who have been here years, so not as clinical as the sindicated places.
The places I remeber in bangser were the Roof, and there was agood rugby bar run by some distant relative of Rorry Underwood, had accouple of English shirts on display can't remeber the name. (is it Ok to mention English Rugbu on this forum?)

Bull's Head is just at back of the Central Market. Been there years and a bit of a hang over from the old 'Malaya' days. As you rightly say, it's not one of those syndicated places. Used to be run by some Northern Indians, so food was very good (excellent mutton curry!)
I spent my first six months in an apartment in Damansara Heights- a bit like that TV prog, " The Prisoner" without the Lotus 7!
regards,
G

Bulls head is gone, I used to work in Menara Daya Bumi, by the central post office so I know the centrel market area well, its not been there for some years, Come back and I can do you a seven. I have the jigs and molds to make the Locost, and I have two 1600 CC escorts waiting in my garage. So far we have made 3 Locosts, well 2 are finished and the third is in the paint shop now. I also have a Phoenix with a 350 BHp Nissan Turbo in it.

GEL, thanks for this, went to Marlin on my way down, great shop good service and had everything i wanted, including the ability to refund me the VAT.
I was very lucky the fridayu we went from Heathrow there was a fatal accident on the M4, and I the best way was to turn off at junction 17 and go past Castle Combe, and then throught Yate back to M5 saved me hours apparantly as the M4 was shut. My wife did not believe me that the accident forced me that way and is convinced I hired a hit man so I could go to the shop.
Any way thanks for the tiop.

No probs and happy to help. I've always found them excellent guys to deal with.
For future reference, they carry what is probably the biggest stock of Samco silicone hose of all stockists and they have some clever guys who can make it up there and then
Not a lot of good to me though, because the Morgan is such a crazy mixture of pipes from everywhere and I didn't want to use too many joiners I had to go to Paul Roose and get a set custom- manufactured. I really rate Paul's stuff. Looks great and the quality is excellent.
Cheers ( and give my regards to KL)
