Super Cars in Aberdare
Discussion
Hello
Can anyone tell me why the old Geraint Hill garage on Cwmbach Road in Aberdare is full of Super Cars? To me it seems a bit strange to have a Lambo, a few Ferrari's and an Ultima (only saw it in the corner of my eye as I was passing so maybe wrong) in a little garage in a Valleys town? Nice to see though and I will be popping in to nose next time I am passing. (My mum lives about 200yds away).

They have a Countach in grey. Dont know much about it because as I said I was just passing. May pop in to see them on Friday when I am up again.
It's quite rare to find a Countach in grey. I've seen a 25th Anniversary in grey, but it wasn't from anywhere around here. I've looked for a website for the dealer but they don't seem to have one.The Black Duke said:
They have just set up shop. I know the owner of the site, may have a chat with him. I thought it may have been some sort of car club but it does seem an odd time to be setting one of those up.
I think someone started an exotic car cub in Cardiff a year or two ago but I haven't heard if it is still going. Good luck to them, whether it's a club or just selling supercars. The Black Duke said:
I think that has closed down now. Wasn't it in the old Rover dealership building near "What"?
Don't know where it was located in Cardiff. I think it would be very hard to get that sort of venture to work around here. There are always people looking to buy supercars. If they are in the right condition and price, people will go hundreds of miles to get the "right" car.
This has been the topic of conversation in work for a couple of weeks. One of the guys in work knows the garage owner. Seams they are jap import replicas. The 2 Fezzas are based on MR2's and there is a Countach roadster/spyder. Apparently these are top line replicas (no idea if this is true as it's word of mouth) and even come with dummy engine covers to make the mr2 engine look like a Ferrari v8 and details like Ferrari logo'd brake calliper covers. Don't think they are going to be cheap to buy either.
Had a slow drive past today and noticed they have also got 2 replica gt40's in there but im positive the ferrari's are not mr2's the usually kit for the mr2's is the 355 but these look more like 360's and deinatly a grey countage if its a rep i dont know but very convining. also what looked like a ducati 916 in there (not pos as it was only the back i saw)
