Ok I was in Swansea last night when I seen an F430, in the exact same spec as I would want, dark grey spider with red interior, I then noticed the numberplate which stated the initials "GE", this then jogged my memory from seeing a few "supercars" baring simular reg marks, I have seen the following:
  • Black Murcielago Roadster, baring a plate previously seen on an F360 spider
  • Navy Porsche 997 Turbo
  • Grey Ferrari F430 Spider
  • Cant remember the colour - Range Rover Vogue
  • Silver Mercedes E55 AMG
Can anyone confirm their part of the same collection? Know any more vehicles belonging to the same collection etc? Dont suppose the owners a PH? Nothing malicious, just curious and fascinated in motoring exotica, especially in such a supercar deprived area smile

BTW I think there was something seriously wrong with the F430, it sounded like it was missing, almost like it was about to cut out? scratchchin

I can't remember the guy's name but they all belong to someone who has something to do with call centres.

He also has a Koenigsegg which is up for sale at Dick Lovett in Cardiff and I'm sure I have seen him in a RR Phantom Drophead.

Edit: I believe it's this chap. He's a customer of ours over in Swansea. http://www.3g.co.uk/3GForum/showthread.php?t=50040

The guy must be stupidly well off.

Murci, 997, F430, Koenisegg, RR Drop head amongst others living in Llanelli area. Not trying to sound like a stalker but he doesnt look that old, I would have said 35 tops? Must have had some career! One things fore sure, hes had a fantastic car history, I for one would certainly doubt him if he posted on PH claiming that garage laugh

The plate on the F430 Spider used to be on an orange Gallardo Spider. That was sold through DL recently.

Interesting to know smile So what is the full extent of the car stable at the moment? Bet they dont have a bad place to lie their head either...

Whats the car history? Im intrigued as he must have the best car collection in wales, at least this side of Cardiff? It will take some beating by all accounts...

Can anyone confirm whether XXGE which was on a silver E55 AMG, now on a white Audi A4 belongs to the same group of cars? The car parks down the road from where I live driven by a woman (short hair 35 ish), I assume shes working in the area (Neath)and I have never seen a spec on either of the cars - always 100% spotless - wheels n all!!

I spotted a Range Rover with a GE number plate broken down on the M4 on Saturday afternoon, not too far from Llanelli.

He certainly seems to have an impressive collection of toys, although I doubt its the 'best' collection in the area.

Holy Jesus! You have to get him on Pistonheads!!!

Just seeing a bug on the road in Wales (knowing it "lives" in wales) will make my day.

Any further details of the current stable? tongue out

I strongly agree with you, and my first comment, that has to be the best collection in Wales, especially when the Bug arrives. Anyone care to mention any other collections of notable interest. The number of supercars I have seen in Wales is very small. SLR & CGT basically, along with the "normal" Gallrados, f430's etc..

There was a rumour that a very wealthy guy was collecting his extensive car collection in Swansea dock (I seen an Enzo heading there), but apparantley these were all being exported under very "shadey" circumstances.

I think you'd be surprised by what other car collectors have in South Wales ....

I know of a gent who lives just outside cardiff who has a very nice collection of classic Ferrari's..Enzo, F40 , F50 , 288GTO , Dino , 250GT to name but a few including a new Scuderia which sits in his office behind a glass screen. Also has Carrera GT and 959, AC Cobra and a Macca F1.....All accomodated within an Aircraft type hangar complete with aircraft attached to the roof of the hangar....most of these cars are hardly driven so not seen on the roads

Also near Cardiff is a gent with a collection of nearly 40 clasic Jaguars....

I think the chap with the Ferraris you mention lives around the corner from me. He has or used to have a stunning XJ220. I used to see him taking the cars out every so often but I haven't seen any of them for a while. Just his every day cars (Porsches & Audis)

I've just seen Mr GE leaving the Ferrari dealer with his F430.....stunning car. The Koenigsegg went out earlier today and looks to be on foreign plates now. I hope he brings the Bug across this way one day.

It sounds like one of the collections I was thinking of, I think it was thirteen Ferrari's at the last count. I saw the 288GTO out and about a year or so back and it was being driven in the correct manor. The following day he was in his 550 Barchetta, so they do get used.

There is also a serious collection located more to the west, he has a Bugatti, but it isn't a Veyron.

His cars have the reg no Fly1....2....3.... etc

Lives in the Vale of Glamorgan ....something to do with supply of equipment for aviation industry.

The guy out west has a Bugatti EB110 saw it at lovetts in cardiff as it was there for a photo shoot.

There are lots of cars in the area......squirreled away and hardly seen ..

That is a fair collection!

However, many here would be very surprised at the collections in South Wales. We should be proud of the many ultra rare vehicles and significant collections here.

I still stand by my original statement of "one of the best collections in Wales, certainly West of Cardiff". I think what people are forgetting is, we have no idea the full extent of this collection, we have only been told about a RR Drop, the rest of the cars have been spotted and linked back to Mr GE.

God knows what he has in total, he may have a fleet of cars he doesnt even drive??

Im intrigued hearing about other fleets within the area though, I thought S. Wales was skint boxedin

That's the chappy. Like I say, I've not seen any of his supercars recently. He was on tv recently too with a nice shot of his collection.

I saw that EB110 going into DL. Only caught the back of it though. frown

I know there is a privacy aspect but it'd be fascinating to hear more about Mr Evan's collection. I get the impression that they get used which is always a good thing smile
