time for a tuscan i think, but i do love the v8 sound !
i have been lucky over the last 20 years to have driven all tvr models upto the t350,
i was at llandow for the tvr launch to the motoring press of the le mans cars, which was awesome.they had the road going t440 ( i think thats what it was called ). skipped work for that one.
shame they have gone to the wall !
just checked your profile....lovely 450
my second tvr was a 400 SE , reg A4 OSE , took my brother 2 weeks to persuade me to buy that car !
( he was sales manager at tvr dealer in cwmbran )
i wasnt keen on the colour....juniper pearl....but what a car to drive and 112 decibels ( officially measured at castle combe ...not allowed on track !!! )
two le mans in that car .
sold back to original owner in scotland.

I was lucky enough to have a quick drve of one of the early 260's. Really enjoyed it, great sound, awesome in fact, but it 'felt' slower than my Pug 406 3-litre 24V saloon. Which puzzled me at the time, (2004).
Something to do with the very flat torque curve probably, as the speedo was showing some very impressive figures.
