There's a monthly meet on the first sunday of every month for breakfast in south wales. If you fancy going further afield then there's another one for SW wales - check out the respective threads for locations.

Wrong time of the year for drives and trackdays at the moment but there's usually loads more going on as the weather gets nicer.

Welcome along! biggrin

May have seen you today or yesterday heading down the bay around 9am - was a white R26, not R26R and I think it had black wheels.

If so byebye

Its actually the best time of year. Far fewer weekend drivers and bikers to contend with and also less scamera vans.

Head up to Brecon / Builth / Ellan Valley area to find some brilliant roads. There are lots of suggested routes and roads in the various threads in the Roads forum.

Its ok. North is a bit rough, south is ok. Its close to most things with town centre a brisk walk north for 15 mins or so.

£1350 is cheap for a place like that. That should tell you something about the area. Does it have off street parking?

Careful if you walk home from town late at night. Your obvious route home from St Mary street takes you along a notorious mugging hotspot. Saying that, Cardiff isn't bad for crime.

Seconded, the area between the Wharf pub and St Mary Street or Queen Street is less than ideal at night. You are very close to where the local hookers hang out as well (although that may be a plus depending on your point of view smile )

Cardiff is pretty good. Just stay clear from town centre on friday and sat nights - unless your on the lash, in which case prepare for a proper night out.

Good luck!

Hey welcome to the Bay. I've lived down here for almost 4 years now and provided you have your wits about you, you shouldn't have any problems. Just heed the advice given by others.

I'm over on Dumballs road so if you see a Black VX driving about the give us a wave.
