Does anyone elses car have any strange qwerks that you wouldnt never normally find on any other car about. As an example mine will always bring on the service light when heading passed the toby carvery in barry towards the airport, but only on that stretch of road. As soon as i get to the roundabout for the aiport it will go off again and also only going in the direction of the airport never coming away from it, Never comes on at any other time.
So does anyone else car do strange things for no apperent reason?

We did a b/m & colour change on a highly original & unmolested Daytona some years ago & were asked by the owner (who had owned the car since 1979) to see if we could find out why his passenger window only ever went down halfway..................................................................
on stripping it down we found an earth wire stretched across the inside of the door - from the frame to a skin support bar about halfway up the inside the door!!!!!!!! Obviously been like that from new - now sorted! (Don't you just love Italians???????)

I had a Mondeo a few years ago that would misfire at random then clear up for a few miles and do it again. Its only when I noticed it would misfire in the same places everyday I thought something was strange. On the day I forgot my mobile phone was the first time in ages the misfire never happened... turned out when the phone was changing between cells searching for the strongest signal was when I got the misfire... stopped putting the phone in the tray near the ECU and the problem stopped confused

I cannot ever get the damn car to pass Story Arms unless I eat something there.

There was one location where the alarm would not arm or re arm but that was probably a nearby transmitter flooding the spectrum.

I am not responsible for the contents of your keyboard, no matter how they got there......

They do make fine artery cloggers there though.

For some silly reason my 3 series drivers door window drops randomly when I open the door - sometimes a few cm's then sometimes all the way! It's fine when weathers ok but whent it's raining I get soaked frown
