Hey guys

Just sold my V70R and picked up a Tdi Passat due to the mileage i'm doing and was wondering about two local Audi/VW specialists i've found.

Previoulsy when i owned Mk4 Golf's, i used the dealer in Cardiff as its local to where i work and to be fair the cost was reasnoble, although i'm sure a specialist would be far cheaper.

My Passat really needs a service and a couple of things looking at and i was wondering if anyone had ever used the places below or can recommend any other VW specialists?

Any advice guys, greatly appreciated.

I have always kept an Audi and have used Airvolk in Blackwood. they have never let me downand I refuse to go anywhere else. They are also very reasonable.

Thanks guys. smile

Euro performance is quite local so i'll give them a call for prices seeing as they're the closest.

Welsh VW in Barry are very good, did cambelt and bits on my A4 V6 for £300 'all in' last week. Local steeler and other specialists wanted twice as much.

Used them for years when running various Golfs. Good service, friendly and knowledgable.

He looked after my Golf Rallye (lhd, 4wd homologation special), took it there for a big service, supercharger rebuild and other bits and pieces and the work was top notch and he knew what he was talking about. Also send a Bora TDI there for servicing and it's always a fantastic price and good service.

I've always been happy with everything he's done hence the strong recommendation.

I used Welsh VW for servicing and cambelts for 5 years - no problems and seem very knowledgeable, helpful and fair.

Hi mate, yeah still around - spend more time on here than any other forum really. Check out my garage if you're interested to see what cars i've had since the different stints with the Golfs mate. I still pop onto uk-mkivs now and again so i'll have a nose re the meet.

You still have the R32? How is it? Can you programme my spare key with Vag.com Andy?

Yes, I will have to check out your garage in a bit!

Still have the R32, it has only done 15miles in the last 7 weeks as I broke my back, so I am still on the mend atm.

Potentialy yes I can program your key with vag-com, I have no idea how to though lol. If you can read up and find out how then your more than welcome to come use vag com.

Quick update guys: Had the car into Euro Performance today for a service and got to say the whole thing was brilliant. Great service, excellent attention to detail and very informative. Only had a basic service and it needed a couple of things looking at, but they were very thorough and went out of their way to give me as much info as possible.

Many thanks to those that recommended them.
