bit of a long shot maybe... but i've scratched the granite worktop in the kitchen when i dragged a toolbox over it smash

does anyone know of a mobile polisher (if they exist?) who can buff the mark out? it's very slight but there none the less

Try rubbing olive oil into the scratch ......disguises it until you can have it repaired.

I use a polish called 'Daily Granite' made by a company called 'Method'. It's a general granite polish but I have got a light scratch out before now using this stuff and alot of rubbing !!

It's available in Sainsburys and in Waitrose. Not seen it anywhere else. It's around the £10 mark for a small bottle. Not cheap but could save you alot if you get the scratch out yourself.

i'll give that a try, what do you use to polish? a cloth or something?

Any old polishing cloth, I suppose a polishing machine would do the trick even better. I think I used an old Autoglym or Meguires cloth I had lying around !!
