Can anyone recommend a specialist in and around Cardiff. I know there's the place on Fabian Way in Swansea, which I'm considering, but wondered if there's anything a little closer to home that people can recommend. Thanks.

Hello stranger
Forza west gets my recommebdation too.
Also worth mentioning would be Autotech in Caerleon.

Closer again would be Cardiff based B&R but they get mixed reviews from others - I've no experience of them though

Our Bimma went to one of the above garages, since having a service done there the car hasnt been on the road since without breaking down, things were asked to be done and werent, in fact the bill to put right due to things that should of been done but werent is massive.

Since having a service at one of these three garages the car developed massive oil leaks,
Had the TC seal go and gearbox leak, gearbox out a few times, get it compression tested, new fluids etc
Ran for a week then the engine started leaking oil, so we have had a top end rebuild done on it, new headgaskets, new every gasket on the engine

Needless to say we havnt been back to that garage, after it was back and forth there a few times to get things fixed which we dont think ever were. Now taken it to another garage Howard at ABH motors in Usk and to be fair Howard is the DB's with a fair few cars

Hi Pits wavey how's the Mitsi going ?

Saw your old man out in the '8' a week last Monday at The Hanbury. Looking nice.

Back on topic, Stuart at Forza has looked after my Griff since day one and I can't recommend him enough. The Griff is running beautifully after the 12k service last month, and I havn't heard anyone say a bad word about his work. (thats knocked one possibilty off your post Pits !! wink ) My Dad is also a convert with his 330d Cab. He's always been a BMW main dealer user but wouldn't go anywhere but Forza now.

Don't bother with a company called Promotive, they are a bunch of crocks. Are you still doing detailing Hugh? Are you booked up?
