What are you worried about, just go for it, you can always flog whatever you get if you dont like it. I got a TVR when I was 27 (14 yrs ago redface ) and have had one ever since. Live for the moment, you might not get another chance smile

Nice cars with an appetite for tyres. Just bear in mind that the V8 engine was never designed for the engine bay and a lot odf it is a squeeze. One of the guys on the Mustang forum had pics for changing the coolant which involved removing the front fascia.

Drove one of them too, very nice, great noise etc but I know of a nice TVR Wedge locally that might be prised from it's owner for less than that.....

The blue one....

Happy Birthday Danny. You could get an early CV8 Monaro for a little bit more than that. 5.7 V8 chevy power and all the tuning possibilities plus cheapish insurance. driving

Happy Birthday Danny. I guess you need a car you can use every day Have you ruled our something obvious like an Impreza. Maybe no as unusual but (apart from insurance) probably easy to find and run. I had a 1994 turbo import, it was an excellent car.
