Hi Guys,

Anyone going to this over the weekend? Looks like it should be a good event:

You both need to go to the fairford air show ! Best ive seen is the mig 29 OVT. I managed to get the pilots hat too. Due to the fact I was working on base at the time I met the pilots walking around after there display smile chap i had the had off is a pavel Vlasov.
Must be one of only a few mig corperation hats in the UK.

Hat can bee seen in this video www.youtube.com/watch?v=eeiqMn7xb_Y

I've been to fairford a couple of time and it is the best show I'v e been to.

Still the Swansea one seems good value for money for whats on.

I'm not sure whats happening on each day, but according to the web site the display on sundays is on for less time than the saturday. Don't know if that means there are less planes, or doing short displays.

I used to go to fairford with my Dad when I was younger. Mig 29 and the Rockwell B1 Lancer used to be my favourites. Might go for a wander down there at some stage over the weekend. Weather looks a bit iffy for saturday though with a low cloudbase. http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/HOBBIES/aviation_fo...

Went over the Bay this afternoon was well worth it "battle of britain" fly past was awesomethumbup The Typhoon was still my pick of the day and the Chinook reminded of all the soldiers who have died recently in afghanistan fighting against the taliban

went back today, typhoon was good, the things that chinock did was great, the seaking was also good, however the highlight for me has to be the red arrows amazing to watch.
