Who's going?
Ehen you going?
And most importantly what time are you leaving South Wales?

It's the first time I've been & I'm hoping to leave Cardiff at 7.00am on Sunday, do you think this is early enough?

I've booked tickets for Sunday and I'm also considering when best to set off. I reckon it'll take 3 hours from Cdf (without a stop) and I'd like to be there nice and early.

I've just checked the FOS website and action kicks off at 8.45 with gates / paddock opening at 7am. Website recommend an early arrival time to avoid traffic delays.

Hmmm, me thinks a 6am start might be better.

This weekend will be our 3rd trip. We (me, misses & kids) are going for 2 days this time (sat & sun) as theres too much for 1 day, we've only done the Saturday before. We still have not been to the rally course yet. Last year we got there at 8, through the gate at 8.30 and got back to the car at 5.30, it's a long day. Going down tonight, got a place too stay over the weekend about 9 miles away.

I would deffinatelly look at leaving south wales before 7. If it was me i'd be thinking of leaving around 5.30 at latest as the traffic into Goodwood is getting pretty thick at 8. Depends what time you want to get in really.

Left Newport around 6.30am last year, and hit very slow moving traffic a few miles from Goodwood which added a fair bit of time to the journey. Stayed until early evening when lots of people had left and it was great having space to look at the cars and take good pictures. Was a long day but worth it smile

Have a lie in and leave at 9am, you'll arrive after the queues wink

Just kidding. I'm afraid you'll need a full day if you want to see most stuff.

We ended up leaving Cardiff at about 7.15 in the end, parked up by 10.30, the last few miles took about an hour. We stayed until about 5.00. It was a long enough day, and although I know we didn't see everything, we saw enough to for it to be a great day out. Probably won't go every year but will definitely go again.
