Friends from London want me to meet them at the Supercar Sunday on the 28th June at Heritage Motor Centre:

www.supercarsunday.co.uk

www.pistonheads.com/features/supercarsunday.htm

However this will clash with West Wales Breakfast Meet. Just wondering if anyone is heading there from South Wales area and are convoying up? Last chance to book is today I have been told - no tickets on the day.

If no one is heading from this way, I will stay and pop to the West Wales meet. A greasy breakfast is always appealing - had my fill of supercars this month anyway biggrin

Cheers, Chris

EDIT - tickets CAN be bought on the day. Today is last chance to apply for your car to be shown...

I've only missed one Supercar Sunday in the last few years when I couldn't get petrol! There are always loads of nice Italian cars to gaze over. I'm not sure what time I'm going as yet as I'm waiting for someone else to decide how they are going. Hope the weather is good.

Ye, you can always pay on the day to get in.

Also, was great to meet the guys from Newtown Motors of Cwmbran who bought along the amazing Morgan Aero Super Sports (my star of the show):

This is one of the launch cars which MMC took to the Geneva Show when the SS first appeared. It's got the AeroRacing exhaust which, as you can hear from the link, is VERY nice.

I went again this year but it was a bit of a disappointing day. The organization was awful, it took me 45mins to get into the site and I was eventually sent to the display area! Oh well didn't have to walk back to the car park! The mix of cars and bikes just didn't work for me. Probably the worst one I've been to.

JonCon,

Which chassis number is that SS?

It's not SS1 because I know where that's going, just curious.

Many thanks,
SS1 is Lord Voakes'car- great spec.
Good to see Newtown flying the flag.
Mind you, not QUITE as colourful as that orange Aero Peter took down to the CBW at Le Mans last year!
Cheers,
wink

Yes, it was a good one. It seems strange to see that pic of the Aero without a crowd surrounding it!

I got 'persusaded' by Quentin English to take part in the Parade des Pilotes. Nice atmosphere but a great way to destroy the clutch
Regards.

Thought so- had this suspicion that the Le Jet D'Eau was just off in the background!
