Not a petrol question I know but seeing as I'm sure you're helpful guys you'll help me out!!

I'm down in Cardiff in a couple of weeks, and last time I was there I wanted to buy a nice pottery dragon. I walked the city centre, the tacky tourist shops and some that weren't tacky, and even checked out the craft shop near the Opera House - no joy!!

Any suggestions where I could try?! Happy to hire a car and go a bit further afield if necessary!!

Nina

PS I've had the offer of a couple of ma in laws - I got rid of mine and don't want a replacement!!

The Grogg shop, which is practically a national institution, do loads of different types. Have a look here www.groggs.co.uk/isapi/isapi.dll?browse&cat_id... there's 3 pages of them to chose from. The pottery itself is in Pontypridd, about 10 miles from Cardiff. If you want to get there on the train, Treforest, the stop before Pontypridd is the closest I think.

There's a Welsh Love Spoon shop directly opposite the main entrance to Cardiff Castle. They sell loads of Welsh 'stuff' and I'd imagine they'd have what you're after.

I bought a cute little dragon for my wife from The Museum of Welsh Life in St Fagans.

Thnaks - tried that and was decidely disappointed - some interesting stuf - as you say love spoons by the zillion - but little in the way of 'one off' dragons which is what I was looking for - I spose it's the 'local pottery' type shops I'm looking for as opposed to the bigger mass outlet shops.

Crazy - 'decent' Nessies are easy to find in God's Own Land biggrin yet I'm strugging to locate Welsh Dragons - the equivalent!!
