South West Wales Morn Meeting

Just thought I would start a new thread as venom500 asked any PHers near Carmarthen I have emailed the people who were interested in doing a sun morn meet and I will be having a drive out to the White Hart in Llandarog as suggested by 68sebring on sun morn only to check out the place and area if anyone want's to come along they are more than welcome also if you have any other suggestions let me know

Just thinking the White Hart might not be a great venue for a morning meeting as its a pub and will be closed!

Must be something in the area though were everyone can get a coffee and a bacon roll!

Is there anything riverside in Carmarthen with Parking?

Llanelli Beach?!? good size car park with coffee shop/cafe.

Good point Neil I also have heard bad things about the white hart I will pop out on sun morn anyway and check out the surrounding area for a suitable venue keep thinking west wales Phers thanks Danny

Have been looking today for a suitable venue for a bit of brekkie and a chat etc Sandy Park in Llanelli has been suggested to me so will be checking it out on sun morn

Be aware that there will be 2500 women at Sandy Park on Sunday (!!!!) for the Race for Life 2009, it's not normally that busy!

I know this may sound like a totally different idea for breakfast but the Little Chef in Cross Hands has been mentioned to me as a good venue breakfast served till 11am plenty of different options and not too expensive will be checking it out on sun morn

Probably a good place to start, right next to the a48 and there's plenty of parking near by. The only word of advice is the new South Wales Police Traffic HQ is very close by so everyone on best behavior!

The Little Chef is just up the road from me so that works for me!

68sebring, i've seen you drive past a couple of times.

Edit to add: I know of a cafe 1 minute from Little Chef, food prices will be much more reasonable and there seems to be adequate parking.
