Hi all,

I was at Llandow earlier this year and took these pictures of the drifters. Some of you might know some of the cars/drivers.

A lot of the drifting that goes on at Llandow is done on trackdays and not as actual "drift" days. There is a track day there this Friday which looks like it is drift friendly and they seem to have spaces left http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

The sx owners club have it booked for Sat 13th June so there will be lots of drifting going on then. Only problem is that you have to be a member of the sxoc (to keep the riff raff out smile )

The skyline owners club also organise days there and seem happy for drifting to take place, as does South Wales Car Club.

As you have a very nice car, I would personally caution against taking it on one of the SWCC days, the days are cheap (£69 per car), and some of the driving is less than controlled. They have a bit of a history of bumps taking place!

They have also started holding rounds of the BDC there which is all drifting, but you have to be a competitor to take part.

sorry, I did mean drift events to watch and posibly try out too.

I saw the BDC at the end of the month, problem is it's a week day so i feel a scive coming on.

Will definetley turn up to watch and photo any other events that are on a weekend. I love seeing drifiting and wish I could perfect it in a safe environment.

As for a nice car and bumpage etc, that was one of my worries, seeing some of the e30's in the pics damaged i wondered how they did it as when i was at llandow last (spectating) i couldn't remember seeing any obstacles to collide with other than walls and hay bales.
