I plan on going to this.
Can you just turn up on the day and pay at the gate? I don't really want to display the car and probably won't be staying all day.
Yes you can, I did the same thing last year as didn't want to stay all day. It was a very very hot day last year and a superb turn out of cars. Can you just turn up on the day and pay at the gate? I don't really want to display the car and probably won't be staying all day.

Right, stupid question of the day. Where is this? The only college i can find with Google is Bridgend college near Bridgend industrial estate.
Thats the technical college. If your coming from Talbot Green way go via Brynna ie past Llanharan Rugby Club, new film studios etc and then at next roundabout a mini golf course on your left, left at this roundabout, past a second hand car garage on right and the College is immediately left off the next roundabout.Alternatively if you get off motorway at Pencoed follow dual carriageway to roundabout, go straight over to next roundabout (single carriageway) and the college is off to the right.

I might pop along to this, is it the type of thing you can do in an hour or 2, or should I force the family to come bring the family and make a day of it.
I only spent about two hours there last year (there were still show cars arriving when I left at midday!) but you can do the family thing if you want as there were rides for kids, food, drink etc there last year. Mind you it was a fantastic day weather wise. If you go back to May 2008 on the SW forum I'm sure there are a load of pictures people took, give you an idea. Otherwise there is also a website for the show with loads of photos from previous years! http://www.swccc.net/annual.htmI'm meeting the other Lotus/Caterhams boys early and think the wife may pop along later with the kids for a visit.

Sorry to be a wet blanket but for the last couple of years, if you haven't booked there will be a late entry fee payable at the gate. - A Tenner to you although I have known people blag it. I think that is why you always see a range of decent cars in the public car park.
Great show though, we've booked our 100e Pop, 912 (first outing) and F350. Do look out for them and let me know what other PH cars to be seen.

Great show today. This was my first time and was really surprised with the mix of cars on display. Only managed to stay for 2 hours, but the sun was out and everyone seamed to be enjoying themselves. Even the kids corner was pretty good and kept the young'un entertained when needed. Definitely one for the yearly calender.
Took a few pic's so will try to post some later.
