Spotted...E21 Ross?

Think I saw you giving it some beans today chap! Don't see many old beemers about, and I heard you coming before you came round the corner. Immediately thought - I wonder if that's an E21 and that guy off of PH??

I had a mega hoon today, and took a fair few pics (which you caught me doing!)

haha yeh that was me i wondered if you were a pher but saw the car and had to give the thumbs up
can't remember what road it was on, may have been the A4061 but i went to the A4059 after so could have been there, both excellent roads which i had never been on before!!! yeh i thrashed that little E21 today and it just took it all in it's stride was so much fun! i just went down the A4059, A4061 then the A4107 and then turned back, it was coming back when i saw you! what other roads you go on?

the weather was so nice and i changed the oil in the E21 earlier in the week so i thought why not!? it's funny the looks you get driving a car that old and they see it still taking an absolute beating!

Cool mate, I was giving mine the berries as well inbetween shots, first time I've just had a random hoon for hoon's sake in it. Yeah it was the 4061 I saw you, I haven't done that one before, great road and awesome views, but a little bumpy.

some nice pics there, looks like you had a good time! the B4560 is one of my favourite roads, forgot to go on that one today though i really need to get vented discs on mine (next upgrade!) since the gradients on the B4560 really made them overheat so i couldn't push as hard as i'd have liked. I gotta say i like your car as well! glad to know it's being used as it should be!!

another good one is the a4233 if you catch it when its clear although not the longest the drop down into aberdare has got some great hairpins to get around. a4061 is great but do perfer the other side a4059 through penderyn over to the a470 and onto brecon

agreed, as good as the A4061 is, the A4059 is better (IMO). plenty of overtaking places too I think that is one of the best roads i've ever been on. was just such good fun, will have to go back there when i'm back next term for uni again (finish next friday...). But still, i don't think i've found a road which beats the A939 in Scotland yet. I wonder if Wales has one as good....A4059 and B4560 come pretty close but just not long enough. A939 (aka the lecht road, i think) is about 50miles long, mostly empty mountain road!! i was just about to write up about my drive earlier, then i saw this thread, it did make me laugh!

edit: I think this will be my next 'hoon'

has the B4560, the B4558 (only been on it once but if i remember it was good!), then the A4059, A4061 and the A4107 (another great road). the good thing then is, i get to turn around and do it all over again
