Dear all.

I need to get the aircon on my 1999 BMW 540i re-gassed, and am based in Barry.

Have you got any recommendations for either:

Somewhere local that can do this for me while I wait or someone who can come out and do this in my office car park or outside my house?

I had this re-gassed about 12 months ago and it's gone again. I guess this will happen with an 'older car'. Seems a bit of a quick demise to me though...

Anyway, I look forward to receiving some recommendations based on your obvious wealth of knowledge.

Cheers chaps,

Nick

Hi there, last had mine done by Peak Performance, Vale Business Park, Llandow.
That was a couple of years ago, no problems since and their charge was very reasonable.

More likely there's a leak in the system in which case a £50 re-gas will be a complete waste of money.

Either get a bimmer specialist that knows their onions or a proper air con specialist to have a look at it. It's been a while since I lived down your way so I have no specific places to recommend sadly.
