Anywhere in South Wales sell them? Found them on Camskill and pretty reasonable but would prefer to buy local if I can.

Most of the local garages I've been to say that only authorised suppliers can sell them?

Cheers Rob

Couldn't find anyone local when I was looking and Camskill were the cheapest on net so I bought them from them and had them fitted locally. Great tyres in the dry but buggers to balance. Place I used said it was quite normal though.

Rob, try these guys...

Authorised Toyo suppliers in Cardiff. I've used them a number of times and I'm sure they could get a set of R888's.

Good luck.

Personally i don't think Camskill can be beaten for price.

However i know tyretraders also sell them, and they offer local fitting when you buy from the site so that might be an option ?

But keep us in formed as when my Parada Spec 2's are worn im going to replace with Tripe Eights tongue out

Thanks guys, I will let you know how I get on.

Camskill are £126 plus postage per tyre (for rears / 17" etc). Local garage will charge £25 to fit etc

They felt like they were ripping the road surface off in the summer such was the grip and they were okay in the winter on the odd occasions I took it out. Did go on the Chilly Willy run with Lotus Club to mid wales on January 3rd and they were okay, I drove carefully!!

I've used Atlas before when I got a set of R888's for my elise, I'd recommend them.

Looks like its Camskill off the internet for me as Atlas confirmed Toyo will now only sell to motorsport approved dealers who are listed on their web page!

Don't know if this is too late but try Garth Tyres in Gwaelod-y-Garth

They claimed they could get them for anyone, when I mentioned it a while back, may have been full of it though ??

Does anyone know if Camskill will go lower on their price ?

I have just been quoted from Camskill;

215/45/17 = £128 each for R888's
215/45/17 = £163 each for A048's

Anyone know of a company that can do cheaper ?

I tried Garth first, seems they are okay with supplying other Toyo's but not the R888's.

Not sure Camskill will reduce, my quote of £126 was for 225/45/17.

I have heard C&S Tyres in Middlesbrough are pretty competitive but can't seem to get through to them (Tel 01642 245339) Let me know if you have any luck.

I think a lot of TVRs are dry sump, so they will be OK, but for others, at least get a baffle people.

High Gs from lots of grip around bends can cause oil starvation.

Cheers,
