due to the fact i can get 4 falken tyres for my BMW for £181 including free delivery...i would like to know if you know anyone who i could take the car to with the tyres and then they fit them? kwik fit won't do this unless i buy from them...and they want over £50-60 per tyre!! do you think a normal servicing garage would do it? i normally take the car to R J Davies garage who have been really good. There is a National tyres near them which is very near me...but i like to stay away from them since they are stupidly pricey.

i'm at the university of glamorgan just to give you an idea as to where i am.

cheers.

Garages have caught on to the fact tyres are very cheap online.
Most around my area now charge a premium when you supply your own.
This is due to the 'mark up' when garages sell you tyres, they like to make some money from you frown

Unless you know they will do you a good deal most of the branded garages will charge silly coin.

My advice would be perhaps look into a website which offers fitting as part of the deal.

This way you are still getting slightly reduced rates.
Have a look at the deal on https://www.etyres.co.uk/ or http://www.blackcircles.com/ and see what you think.

I only ever buy online as its very difficult to find garages around here that stock Yokohama Paradas rolleyes

Valley Tyres in Pontypridd. Even beats the online guys for price. Lads look after the rims as well. Not a lot to look at but the overheads are low and they are a good bunch of guys.

As Fastlane said, Sardis Road Tyres charged me £20 to fit 2 tyres, £10 a corner, which i have found is about average. More importantly they were very carefull not to damage the wheels when they took them off etc, they really seemed to car about the car/wheels.

I know this topic is a bit old well a few days anyway but i used Sardis Road tyres in pontypridd for michelin pilot sports for my car and he was 15% min cheaper than anyone else i even couldn't beat his price looking to mail order tyres and his quote was balanced and fitted! good service too, its a small place but i was very happy the way the looked after my wheels and being small operation i think thats how he keeps the prices so low! highly recommend!

You should try City Tyres in Cardiff. Cheap and they fit them free.
